We just couldn’t see the colorful lights that brightened up even the darkness and the stars that were floating in my eyes, which were not awake. This XR performance was designed to bring back the pitch-black night sky of space and make myself shine as a star. To create a space for breathing stars, the story of Cheonjiwangbonpuri, the Jeju myth of the creation of heaven and earth, which contains the origin of the stars, is presented in a projection-mapped three-dimensional video, and the natural story is unfolded through the performance and sound of traditional instruments and modern dance containing the movements of the beginning. In addition, in expressing the stars and the universe, black lacquer and mother-of-pearl techniques, which are said to express the colors of the universe well, were applied.

We want to invite you to the beginning of time, the time of stars when we were all stars, through projection light, dance, and waves of music.

To create a space for breathing stars, the story of the Jeju legend of the creation myth Cheonjibabaek Shinwa and the story of Cheonjiwang Bon-puli, which contains the origin of the stars, unfolds with projection-mapped stereoscopic images, the performance of traditional instruments that contain the essence of nature, and sounds, and modern dance that captures the movement of the beginning of time. In addition, it applied the colors of the universe well in expressing stars and the universe, using the techniques of black lacquer (黑漆) and lacquer ware.
